Shahi Kalakand

Makes: 8 to 9 pieces

Ingredients

  • Paneer - 250 grams

  • Condensed milk - Half a cup

  • Ghee - 1 Teaspoon

  • Elaichi Powder - Quarter Teaspoon

  • Sliced pista and almonds for garnishing


Method:

  • In a non-stick pan or kadai, add ghee and then the crumbled paneer

  • Cook this mixture for 2-3 minutes

  • Add condensed milk and continue cooking till it starts to thicken

  • Pour this mixture in a greased plate and flatten it nicely to make a square shape

  • Garnish with pista and almonds

  • Let it rest for 15-minutes

  • Cut with a knife in a 3x3 grid

  • Serve after it cools completely (approx. half an hour)
